In the 1970s, Carrie's family purchased the Zapp Hall property from the Zapp family. It's been a place where family and friends have gathered for holidays, big events, lazy weekends, and the famous Round Top Antiques Week.

Warrenton lies about halfway between Austin & Houston. Guest who will be flying should consider Austin-Bergstrom (AUS), Bush Intercontinental (IAH), or Houston Hobby (HOU) airports when arranging flights. 

BY CAR

See directions below. Note: When consulting your GPS, please note many navigation systems will recognize the address as in Round Top, Texas 78954 rather than Warrenton 78961. Apparently things got a little crazy when the post office left town...  

BY BOAT

We do not recommend traveling to Warrenton via boat as much of Central Texas is still experiencing drought conditions. 

FROM AUSTIN

[South Austin or the Airport] Take Hwy 71 East  to La Grange. Exit La Grange to Hwy 237 until Warrenton. Zapp Hall is on the right, just past the Warrenton Grocery. 

[Central or North Austin] Take Hwy 290 East to Ledbetter. Turn right on FM 1291. Turn left on Hwy 237. Zapp Hall is on the right, just past the Warrenton Grocery. 

FROM HOUSTON

Take I-10 West. Exit Sealy, go north on 36, then west on 1094 to New Ulm. Turn right on 109. In Industry, turn left on 159. In Willow Springs turn right on 954. In Warrenton turn left on 237. Zapp Hall is on the left at the top of the hill. 

Take 290 West to Hwy 237 (just past Brenham and Burton). Exit left to Hwy 237 through Round Top to Warrenton. Zapp Hall is on the left at the top of the hill.
